SHPM (Shell Package Manager) is a script collection that installs packages that can't be installed with apt-get (or not the lastest version). You can view the package list here.
All this commands must be run inside SHPM directory (
Installing packages is as simple as write
sh i/package.sh in a terminal.
We can update most (but not all) packages installed via apt-get or via SHPM. Just run
If you want to install SHPM, run in a terminal (not root)
cd git clone https://github.com/vicgua/shpm.git cd shpm sh i/shpm.sh

Open the SHPM directory in a terminal and run
sh r/shpm.sh. View in the wiki
When installing SHPM, it also installs
ppa-purge and, if you want, you can uninstall it with
sudo apt-get remove ppa-purge
